Vacuum filters & sterile filters – 0.22 µm PES, single-use, USP87/88
Sterile disposable vacuum filters for media filtration, sterilisation and laboratory applications – 250ml to 1,000ml
The innoME Disposable Vacuum Filter wurden für zuverlässige Media filtration, buffer sterilisation, and cell culture workflows developed.
Available with PES (Polyethersulphone) or Nylon membrane in pore sizes from 0.1 µm to 0.45 µm – for the highest filtration performance with low protein binding and minimal product loss.
Whether for Media preparation, buffer filtration, or sterile filtration – our vacuum filters are ideally suited for Cell culture, biopharmaceuticals and clinical laboratories.

Product Information
PES Membrane (Polyethersulfone)
Ultra-low protein adsorption of less than 1.51 TP3T – ideal for protein-containing solutions such as cell culture media and sera. High flow rate with low pressure drop. Available in 0.1 µm, 0.22 µm and 0.45 µm pore sizes.
Nylon Membrane
Robust nylon membrane for aqueous and lightly organic solutions. Broad chemical compatibility. Available in 0.22 µm and 0.45 µm – ideal for buffer filtration and general laboratory filtration.
0.22 µm – Sterilising filtration
Sterile filtration of cell culture media, buffers, and solutions. Effectively removes bacteria, yeasts, and fungi. Complies with requirements for sterile filtration according to pharmacopoeias (USP, EP).
0.45 µm – Pre-filtration & Clarification
Removal of particles, cell debris and larger microorganisms. Ideal as a pre-filter before 0.22 µm filtration or for clarification of solutions. Increases the service life of sterilising filters.
Sterility & Certificates
Gamma-pre-sterilised, USP87 and USP88 compliant. Non-pyrogenic, nuclease-free, surfactant-free. Low extractables. Single-use design prevents cross-contamination.

FAQ
For Sterilfiltration (Removal of bacteria) use 0.22 µm – this is the pharmaceutical standard. For Pre-filtration and particle removal is enough 0.45 µm. For particularly fine particles and viruses 0.1 µm suitable (PES only).
PES we recommend for protein-containing solutions (cell culture media, FBS, antibody solutions) as protein adsorption is less than 1.5% – minimal product loss. Nylon suitable for aqueous buffers and general laboratory filtration where protein loss is less critical.
As a rule of thumb: 250 ml filter for small batches up to 250 ml, 500 ml filter for standard laboratory quantities, 1,000 ml Filter for larger batches or if you wish to carry out multiple filtrations with one filter. The filter capacity indicates how much volume can be effectively filtered.
Yes – our vacuum filters are USP87 and USP88 compliant, gamma-sterilised and meet the requirements for use in cGMP-regulated processes. No surfactant, no pyrogen, no extract – full quality documentation available.
